Instructor: Shannon Nelson

In this workshop we will take a closer look at how to use our 4 shaft looms to create intricate designs, such as curves and circles, in our weaving. Participants will be introduced to the overshot weave structure, its characteristics and its uses. We will try weaving different patterns on multiple looms, creating at least four samples that you will take home with you.

You will be dressing your loom for this workshop prior to the event. We will send out the warping information 2 weeks prior to the workshop and help you get going so when you arrive to the workshop we can make the most of our time together!

Experience Necessary: If you've taken a beginner course with us, this class is for you! This course is for weavers with some experience weaving different structures and patterns. You will also need to have some experience reading weaving drafts.

All Materials are included for this workshop. Students will go home with handwoven samples and detailed pattern information.

Please note when you checkout if you would like to borrow a table loom for this workshop or if you will bring your own.
