Gather Press is publishing a book of drafts and weave structure wisdom drawing on designs from Marguerite Porter Davison’s beloved A Handweaver’s Pattern Book. We’ve woven beautiful new samples in colour, looking at how Davison designed her drafts, and came up with fresh drafts based in the treasure trove of ideas in A Handweaver’s Pattern Book. We’ve corrected and updated the drafts to modern draft notation, and added new drafts to give you even more weaving inspiration. We’ve also added crystal clear explanations of how each structure works.
