Shipping Policy
Standard Shipping
Canada: Flat rate of $16.95 CAD
United States: Flat rate of $20.00 USD
Standard shipping applies only to items available and in stock at the time of purchase. Additional charges may apply to remote or hard to serve locations.
Special Order Items
Some products are brought in specifically for you as a special order. These items may require additional handling and incur extra shipping charges.
Loom Shipping
Ashford: Ships free of charge within Canada only.
Louet: Ships free of charge within Canada and the Unites States. NOTE: Louet products ship directly from Netherlands.
Schacht: Shipping for floor looms is billed separately at cost. Please contact us for a shipping estimate if required.
Processing Time
Standard shipping orders are processed within 1-3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped.
Special orders are processed typically within 2-4 weeks, unless otherwise noted. We will contact you with a revised timeline if current estimate is longer than 4 weeks.
Customs, Duties & Brokerage Fees (U.S. Customers)
All orders ship from Canada, unless otherwise noted. Shipments from Canada to the U.S. may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees charged by the carrier. These fees are not included in our shipping charges and are the responsibility of the customer.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your package on the carrier’s website. If you have any issues with tracking, please contact us at orders@gathertextiles.com.
Returns Policy
Return Eligibility
We accept returns on most items within 30 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received them.
- Items such as custom orders, digital downloads, and sale items are non-returnable.
Return Process
To initiate a return, please contact us at orders@gathertextiles.com with your order number and details about the product you wish to return. We will provide you with return instructions and the return address.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or defective upon arrival. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a product, please contact us at orders@gathertextiles.com.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or if you received the wrong item, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your package. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, including sending a replacement or offering a refund.
Workshops Policy
Workshops
Our workshops are non-refundable. A great deal of time and preparation goes into our workshops. To create the best experience for our participants we prepare all of our materials ahead of time. Workshops are fully transferable at no extra cost, and we are happy to accommodate a friend or family member to come in your place. Please contact us to make these arrangements. If a workshop is cancelled from low registration or restrictions a full refund will be provided.
