Wash-up Cloth Kit

Pattern by Megan Samms

These elegant wash-up cloths can certainly be used to wash your face and body, the faces and bodies of your loved ones, your tables and dishes. They can also be used as a very small table square, placed on a side table to cushion its surface, or hung as a diptych, triptych or more to decorate a space. The smooth hemp shines and the organic cotton is soft and comforting.

This pattern was designed by Megan Samms, a textile designer, weaver, natural dyer, and restorative farmer. Megan lives and works on her traditional Mi’kmaw territory in rural Ktaqmkuk at the Katalisk Sipu (Codroy Valley, Newfoundland). As Newfoundland’s provincial representative on the Guild of Canadian Weavers and a juried member of the Craft Council of Newfoundland, Megan is committed to promoting high technical standards within her craft community.
