Policy for Workshops
Our workshops are non-refundable. A great deal of time and preparation goes into our workshops. To create the best experience for our participants we prepare all of our materials ahead of time.
Workshops are fully transferable at no extra cost, and we are happy to accommodate a friend or family member to come in your place. Please contact us to make these arrangements.
If a workshop is cancelled from low registration or restrictions a full refund will be provided.
This policy makes it possible for us to host great workshops and bring in quality instructors, and we thank you for understanding!
Can I bring my own supplies and equipment for Open Studio?
You are welcome to bring your own supplies and equipment for open studio! Please make sure your personal belongings are marked with your name just in case you forget something. If you leave something at the studio for over 30 days, we will donate the item to the Re-Use Centre.
Where should I park?
You are welcome to park in any of the parking lots near the studio or on the street. Please avoid parking right in front of the garbage bins.
Do you teach kids classes?
Currently all of our time and energy is going into creating great adult classes. We have some plans for kids classes in the future but no concrete dates. Please email us about 1:1 kids tutoring and private classes
Domestic Shipping
Orders are processed within 2-5 business days.
You will receive your order anywhere from 5-10 business days from the date that it is shipped out, not the date the order is placed.
Orders that are system flagged (SF) may be asked to verify additional information and we are not responsible for the delay in processing your order.
Business days do not include weekends or holidays. Orders placed on Friday after 12PM MST or over the weekend will begin processing on the following Monday.
Looms have specialized shipping that is calculated when you check out.
International Shipping
You will receive your order anywhere from 5-60 business days from the date that it is shipped out not the date the order is placed. We do not guarantee arrival dates for International packages due to many factors out of our control including but not limited to weather/natural disaster, delays in custom clearance, and/or delays on the courier's end.
After your payment is authorized and verified, it can still take up to two business days to process your order in our shop.

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout and do not include custom fees or taxes. Gather Textiles is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying these additional charges for customs clearance. We must declare all items at their full price and cannot change this amount to lower custom fees.
Your order may be subject to custom fees or taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your particular country. However, the amount does depend on the country to which the order was shipped. Please contact your customs office for a specific amount and percentage breakdown
If you refuse your package or the package is returned to sender, you are responsible for the original shipping charges as well as any custom fees or taxes that are incurred. If the package is undeliverable and returned to gathertextiles.com, the shipping and return shipping total charges will be deducted from your merchandise payment amount refunded. In the instance that the price to return the merchandise exceeds the total amount of the merchandise including shipping costs, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.
Please note: We do not accept returns or exchanges on international orders.

Return/Exchange Policy
We stand behind our products 100%. Your satisfaction is important to us! Please see below for details about our policy on returns and exchanges.
Please notify us as soon as possible if there is a problem with your order. Our return/exchange policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot return or exchange your purchase. .
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging, and yarn must not be wound from a skein to a ball if it came in skein form. No portion of the yarn may be used or tampered with. To process your exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
For both returns and exchanges, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item arrives defective. When returning an item you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
We only offer refunds for products that are defective or damaged.
Not Eligible for Return:

- Gift cards
- Sale items
Giftcards are not eligible for a refund or exchange. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards or gift card codes you are emailed.
