24" Weaving Width
This jack-type floor loom is light but solid and easily moveable when folded. It is designed for workshops and demonstrations. To fold, slightly unscrew the two handles on the sides of the loom and slide them up. It can be folded easily even after weaving has started.
The Compact loom is built with six treadles. It can be ordered with either 4 shafts or 8 shafts. The 4-shaft model can be converted into an 8 shaft loom at a later date if you'd like, by adding 4 shafts (and 4 treadles). The Compact is equipped with a 1 7/8" (4 cm) regular plain beam. It can be converted to a sectional beam with the purchase of sectional rakes.
