Log cabin is one of the most satisfying colour-and-weave designs out there! Using only plain weave, two colours alternate in both the warp and the weft to create an optical illusion where pattern squares appear to be weaving over and under each other. It's hard to believe you can get so much impact with such a simple weave structure! This pattern uses slub cotton in the weft to accentuate the 3D effect of the log cabin design.
This pattern makes three towels
